TU Big Band Dresden e.V.
The TU Big Band is a jazz orchestra that plays swing, jazz and dance music. Our some 30 active members include students and graduates. Around for 5 decades, our formation gives around ten concerts a year, including dance balls, anniversary celebrations, city festivals and of course university events. Occasional concert trips and rehearsal weekends for intensive playing and other joint activities are also part of what it means to join our club – these are just some of the ways we enjoy a break from university life.

| Performance modalities | With the TU Big Band you can get appealing live music with a rich big band sound. About 30 musicians offer you a program of up to three hours, which can be arranged completely according to your needs. We play background music for receptions, stage programs with swing classics as well as pure dance programs with a balanced selection of standard and Latin American dances. We need 30-40 square meters of rain-protected stage space, a power supply (220 V, 2x10 A) and of course an audience :-) For more details please visit our website or call us directly. |
