You don't want to sing alone in the bathroom anymore? We from the Jazzchor Dresden like to sing together with you. Unfortunately, we don't all fit into your shower. Therefore our suggestion: Come to the audition!

Who are we? What do we wish for and what drives us? At first glance deep philosophical questions, at second glance material of rousing and emotional jazz and pop songs.

With its new program "Part of us," the Jazzchor Dresden has tracked down these musical treasures and entrusted them to the arranging pen of well-known names on the European a cappella scene. Black folders remain in their niche during the performances, because choral music is presented from its modern side. Warm groovy basses, a multifaceted sound and beatbox rhythms shape the characteristic sound.

In 2022, the Jazzchor Dresden celebrates its 10th anniversary with a new program and a new CD production! Highlights of the choir's history include the release of the first album "DEBÜT!", a third prize at the German Chorfest 2022 and the joint performance with Jan Böhmermann in Neo Magazin Royale.

Currently we are explicitly looking for soprano 2, tenor 1 and bass 2. We are looking for long-term, active participation from our members as well as a good sense of rhythm and groove. Choir or ensemble experience is an advantage.
