Mensa Mahlwerk in Zittau
The canteen was operated by the Studentenwerk Dresden from 1994 to 2014 under the name Mensa Haus VII. In July 2014, the facility had to close for economic reasons.
After extensive renovation and refurnishing, the canteen on Schwenninger Weg was reopened in September 2018 as Mensa Mahlwerk.
Especially students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as well as of Power Engineering are guests of the Mensa Mahlwerk on this part of the Zittau campus - this reference is also reflected in the newly created logo of the Mensa.
