Online surveys on our canteens and cafeterias

Studentenwerk Dresden regularly conducts surveys on the services offered by the canteens and cafeterias. In the following overview you will find results and evaluations of surveys from the last few months:

Survey on cashless payment in canteens and cafeterias

As part of the survey on cashless payment in the canteens and cafeterias of Studentenwerk Dresden, opinions were gathered among students and employees of the universities served in January 2026. The aim was not to prepare an immediate decision in the sense of an "either/or" choice, but to collect feedback and assessments on the reasons for paying in cash or cashless.

Survey on vegan and vegetarian options at the canteen Alte Mensa

Studentenwerk Dresden is constantly expanding its vegan and vegetarian offerings. This is generally viewed positively, and demand is increasing. Nevertheless, there has been repeated criticism of the composition and preparation of the food in the canteen Alte Mensa. This prompted us to conduct a short survey to get to the bottom of the issue more systematically. At the end of 2024, we therefore conducted a survey on the vegetarian and vegan dishes in the canteen Alte Mensa.
