The study start-up aid can be applied for independently of any BAföG application from September 2024 - exclusively online via BAföG Digital.
There is a deadline for applying for study start-up aid: An application for study start-up aid can only be submitted by the end of the month following the month in which the course begins. If the winter semester at the university begins in September, the application can be submitted by October 31. If the start date is October 1, you can submit the application by November 30.
