Childcare places available: At the Miniforscher and SpielWerk daycare centers, the focus is on growing up together – openly, tolerantly, and with curiosity. As daycare centers located near the university, we offer reliable childcare options, especially for students and university staff, including close collaboration with the social workers at the campus office. At the same time, our daycare centers are open to all families – regardless of whether and where the parents study or work.
At the Miniforscher, children can be cared for full-day from 9 weeks old up to the age of 3.5 years. Small groups, consistent caregivers, and a calm, safe atmosphere create space for closeness, trust, and individual development.
The family café at the Miniforscher – next meeting on April 2nd – offers an additional opportunity to connect and network with other parents and the teaching team. The SpielWerk daycare center supports children from their first year until they start school, specifically fostering their curiosity and spirit of discovery. A special focus is placed on early childhood education in STEM fields, as well as on intercultural pedagogy that makes diversity visible and natural in everyday life.
Regular tours of both kindergartens offer interested parties insights into daily life; individual appointments can also be arranged.
