We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the repeated fire alarms and the resulting disruption to “lieber mensen gehen”.
Important notice for our guests affected by a fire alarm: Starting Monday, 4 May, it will be possible to receive a refund for the purchase of your lunch, including drinks, dessert, etc., at the service point of Neue Mensa (daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), upon presentation of your mensa card or receipt (in case of cash payment). This applies from 20 minutes before the start of the fire alarm.
If another alarm should occur in the future, you are welcome to take your tray with you to the outdoor area, if possible.
Our team is working on resolving the issue and is in close communication with the companies that can help eliminate this malfunction. We hope that no further false alarms will occur in the future and that all students and cafeteria guests will continue to support Neue Mensa.
