What is a reservation charge?
When you receive the confirmation for one room in our student halls, you will also receive the request to transfer the reservation charge. This charge is as high as your future deposit and will be used as such when you move in. The deadline to make this transaction is usually within 5 days of receiving the confirmation, however it can be shortened if the demand for rooms is very high. By paying the reservation charge the offered room will be reserved for you, even if you arrive later in the first month of your lease.
If you decide to not move in the reserved room, you have the option to tell us within the deadline that you don’t need the room anymore. We will transfer the charge back to your bank account.
