What is the difference between the renovated and not yet renovated student halls? How are the rooms equipped?
Renovated buildings were newly designed in the year given with the description of each student hall. Furniture, kitchens and sanitary facilities were completely modernised. Unless otherwise indicated, the rooms are fully furnished (bed, wardrobe, shelf, table, chair, and desk). Fridges and cookers are provided in the kitchens.
The following do not belong to the inventory:
- S) bedding (pillow, blanket), bed linen
- E) pots and pans, cutlery, plates and dishes, mugs, glasses and bowls
You can buy (S) for 45 EUR and (E) for 35 EUR as a "starter-kits" in the Studentenwerk before or on the day of your arrival. If you like you may renovate your room on your own initiative - we will help you with materials and tools, all you have to do is ask the caretaker.
