Question: What should I do if for some reason I do not require a room in a student hall after having applied?Answer:
Every withdrawal of an application or return/cancellation of an already allocated room has to be reported in writing without delay (a postcard is enough!). Cancellations cannot be accepted by phone. Prompt cancellation allows us to help others. Cancellations have to have arrived (by post or email) in the Studentenwerk not later than 12.00 noon at the last working day before the planned beginning of the tenancy contract term. Otherwise a cancellation fee of 70 euros will be charged.
